The Gathering Place on Lake LBJ

Our stay was lovely and we had everything we needed. So many cozy corners and thoughtful details. The check in process was a little awkward with personal text messages outside the VRBO app and a Docusign about rules and expectations. While all interactions were kind and helpful, it was confusing at times that the communication was taken outside the app.

We had a great time at this house. The entire place was so clean, organized and had nice touches throughout. The kitchen had everything you needed…so well stocked. The beds were comfy with good pillows. The outside decks were so nice…great to grill in the well appointed outdoor kitchen and watch the kids have a blast on the rope swing! The dock was perfect for our boat and the fishing was fun! We also enjoyed all the water toys…kayaks, paddle boards and lily pad. The host was so great and responded quickly to any questions we had. This place has it all and we’re planning to come back!

This property was beautiful and was plenty of space for all 12 of us! We loved using the paddle boards and kayaks. The house was very clean and comfortable and the host was very responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was amazing and the kitchen was stocked over and above!! The view was very nice with multiple sitting areas that accommodated our group so well. We enjoyed the kayaks, the paddle boards and the boat dock! We would love to stay here again in the future. Amazing!

Great place with a well appointed kitchen.
